競り合いの緊張感をアップさせる「プレーエネルギー」の導入や、ディフェンスの反応の最適化により、さらに、思い通りのチームプレーが可能になりました。

○Miiを選手にして、オリジナルの「マイチーム」を編成
Wiiならではの新システム「マイチーム」は、友だちや家族、有名人のソックリさんなど、本体に登録されているMiiでオリジナルチームを作ることができる機能。
そのまま「Wi-Fi対戦」に参加できるのはもちろん、その他のモードで活躍し、ポイントを獲得することで、「マイチーム」を強化することもできます。

○新モーション、新操作を追加。無回転シュートも可能
パスを要求する動作など、新モーションを追加。さらに、Wiiリモコン+ヌンチャク操作の改良により、フリーキック時は、リモコンの傾きによってカーブをかけたり、無回転シュートを打つことも可能です。

○ライティング、エフェクトを改良し、Wiiに最適化したグラフィックに
ドイツ代表公式ライセンスや「埼玉スタジアム2002」を新たに収録。"世界のサッカー"をプレーする歓びに、さらなる興奮をもたらします。
